Newtown Medical Centre will be closed over the Easter period, including:

  • Good Friday - 3rd April

  • Easter Monday - 6th April

We will reopen as normal following the public holidays.

Practice Plus (online GP service)
You can book a virtual appointment with a New Zealand registered GP through Practice Plus. This is a great option for non-urgent health concerns and prescriptions from the comfort of home.

Wellington After Hours & Emergency Care
For urgent medical care, please visit:

  • Wellington Accident & Urgent Medical Centre

  • Your nearest hospital emergency department if it is serious or life-threatening
